  Merry New Year!
Yes, "Merry New Year!" is a Trading Places reference, for those of you who have nothing better to do than memorize random lines from Eighties movies. For those of you who do have better things to do, I will say only that if you currently happen to be in Ohio and don't have a brewski in your hand, you might as well be wearing a dress. Now see, if you DID memorize random lines from Eighties movies, you'd know what I'm talking about. The rest of you, of course, will already know that whether or not to kill themselves is one of the most important decisions a teenager can make ...

Whatever. If you go out tonight and decide to have a drink, why not try a Blue Diamond beer, available at fine Chinese grocery stores everywhere? (Or at least the ones near our house.) Naturally, any resemblance a can of Blue Diamond has to any other well known beer--say, oh, Budweiser--is strictly coincidental. I mean, it's not as if something like 80 or 90 percent of all counterfeit or knock-off items are made in China ...

Anyway, I'm still on "vacation" in the States, so updates will continue to be light for a week or so, although I already have one prepared for when I get back. I don't want to give it away, but think "fishheads!" and you won't be surprised. (Whether or not the fishheads are rolly-polly is up to you.) Until then, Merry New Year!

ps: Heathers.

pss: That's the quote the movie is from.

psss: Keep up.

pssss: Seriously ...
