Me and Chairman Mao
9.24.2005
  Traveling man.
We're off again this morning, this time to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. And just to be clear, when I say "we," I mean Holly is going there for a conference, and I'm just sort of tagging along because it's better than hanging out here by myself for a week. It should be interesting at any rate, because right now I only know two things about Kuala Lumpur: first, 150 years ago or so, there was no city there at all; two, despite that limited time frame, they have still managed to build the tallest buildings in the world, the Petronas Towers, which apparently have nothing to do with the equally famous "Patronus Charm." Who knew? I mean, besides Hermione, of course. Stupid know it all. (That's a little Harry Potter humor for all you Muggles out there.)

Whatever. I have no idea what to expect, but if nothing else I'll take a lot of pictures, and you know what that means. Yes, by the end of next week, you can expect a new, Kuala Lumpur-based phog. I know, I know, you're really excited. Well, either that or very confused, since "phog" is not really a word. Not yet, at least ...
